Cleaning up the pieces

Oil pump cleaned up with soda blast.

Regulator and bracket. The wire is rubbed bare part way along plus there's a crimp joiner. Needs testing before getting excited.

Battery box will survive. The hold down is a custom made stainless item. I like to use a brass wire brush with WD40 on the chrome because it's less likely to promote rusting. If metal is bare back to steel, I apply turtle wax.

ZEL cylinder in fair condition. Chrome de-rusted with a brass wire brush. Curiously cap reads DOT5. Fairly sure I'll run DOT4 which is infinitely easier to find and I have some on the shelf.

These cleaned up well. Suitable patina'd

Cleaned these up with brass wire brush, Solvo Autosol and straightened the damage.
